DAY 1
Arrival in Reykjavik. Taking the bus from the airport to town, we guide you to your accommodation. We should have some time to explore Reykjavik sights, like the contemporary cathedral, wander by the water front and explore some cafe life. Let us know if you want to extend your time in Reykjavid and we can add some days either at the beginning or end of the tour.

Iceland's capital Reykjavík is a vibrant and dynamic city. From whale watching to food tours, you'll be sure to find an activity perfect for you.

DAY 2
Borgarnes
Borgarnes is a town of around 1763 people, located on a peninsula at the shore of Borgarfjordur. About 4 km outside Borgarnes is the church and vicarage at Borg
Hraunfossar
Hraunfossar are beautiful waterfalls where the water cascades down cliffs of dark lava. A stones-throw away are the scenic Barnafossar waterfalls.

DAY 4
Látrabjarg
Látrabjarg is a promontory and the westernmost point in Iceland. The cliffs are home to millions of birds, including puffins, northern gannets, guillemots and razorbills. It is vital for their survival as it hosts up to 40% of the world population for some species e.g. the Razorbill.
Rauðisandur Beach
Rauðisandur is a large stretch of beach. The sand is not black like in most parts of the country but white or red.

Dynjandi
Dynjandi is a series of waterfalls. The waterfalls have a total height of 100 metres
Hrafnseyri
Hrafnseyri is an old town in the Westfjords that dates back to the Settlement Era and has links to Iceland’s independence movement.

DAY 6
Hornstrandir
Optional boat trip and hiking in this protected area where you can see artic foxes.
As the trip is expensive, it is given as an optional activity costing 350€ for the 12 hour trip.
Ísafjörður
Ísafjörður is the the capital of the Westfjords and a cute coastal town with a population of around 2.600 people.

DAY 7
Hólmavík
A sleepy village which is home to the museum of sorcery and witchcraft as well as the Sorcerer's Cottage.
Djupavik Art Factory
Djúpavík was once a booming fishing village, It now has an old herring factory converted in to an art exhibtion center.

DAY 8
Þingvellir
The UNESCO site Þingvellir National Park is located in a rift valley where two tectonic plates are drifting apart. It is also where Iceland's parliament was founded in the year 930 AD.
Deildartunguhver
Deildartunguhver is a hot spring in Reykholt in the Borgarfjörður district. It has the highest flow rate for a hot spring in Europe.

DAY 9
Farewell
Time for some souvenir shopping and a stroll through the trendy streets of Reykjavik.
FOOD
In all the accommodation we have access to a kitchen, meaning that you will have freshly prepared vegan food. A chance to discover and test some new recipes. Lunch packs of salads, fruit, cakes will be prepared, so bring a bento box or equivalent food container, with seperate compartments. We also have the option of discovering some vegan restaurants.
Food costs will be managed using a kitty. Expect to pay around 20€ per day, for 3 meals. Visiting restaurants will increase the cost, depending on the qualifty of the restaurants you choose.
